About Us

Tom was a general contractor for 3 years and an engineer for 14 years.  By 2004 he was  ready to leave the automotive world and jump into something that would allow him to enjoy the outdoors, people and doing something different everyday.  And the idea of a campground was born.  Now, on any given day you will see Tom someplace on the campground or in the office.  He especially enjoys meeting our customers and learning all about them.  Tom's passions are hunting and fishing.  So if you are looking for a great place to fish, be sure to ask him about his favorite spots.

Libby is a physical therapist and continues to work full time at the local hospital.  However, you will see her around the campground on the weekends.  She enjoys owning the campground as it allows her to meet new people and she has made some lifelong friends because of it.  Libby also loves her coffee, so she made Tom install an espresso machine. Now she can enjoy a latte anytime she wants and pretend she is a barista.  Be sure to check out the many flavors of lattes the cafe has to offer.  Libby's hobbies include gardening and landscaping the campground. She is constantly looking for new places to put another flower garden or plant.  Lastly, she loves to go out to eat.  So if you are looking for a good restaurant, be sure to talk with her.

Katie is the first born of the triplets.  Her passion is singing, reading, writing and performing in plays.  Katie enjoys working at the front desk answering phones, taking reservations and registering people. She loves working with customers and meeting new people. Her favorite ice cream in the snack shop is Sherman Tracks.  She is 18 and looking forward to being a senior next year.  She is hoping to pursue a major in English and writing.  She also likes to shop, so if you are looking for some fun places to go, be sure to ask her.

Micaela is the youngest of the triplets.  She often works the front desk and likes it when it is very busy.  She likes working the snack bar because her favorite food is on the menu - Nachos and her favorite ice cream, chocomania, is always available.  She also enjoys the kids.  You will often see her during the tye dye activity showing kids the how-to's of dyeing a t-shirt, or leading a sing-a-long on the hayride.  Micaela is 18 and also looking forward to her senior year.  She is hoping to pursue a career in the medical field that lets her be in the emergency room where it is always busy and changing.  She likes the adrenaline rush of it all.  Her favorite past time is going to the beach.  So if you need advice on the best beaches, be sure to ask her.

Tommy is the middle triplet.  He enjoys the variety of jobs the campground has to offer.  Usually you will find Tommy outside picking up trash, cleaning firepits, splitting wood and escorting people to their sites.  After a day of work, you can find Tommy at the snack shop drinking slushies, having a scoop of black cherry ice cream or eating a fresh made pizza.  He is 18 and also looking forward to his senior year.  His passion is golf.  If you want to know the best courses around, the latest in golf club technology, or anything to do with golf, he is the one to talk to.

Josh loves getting dirty and working hard.  Usually you will find him around the campground either on a tractor, cleaning out a fire pit, splitting wood or fixing something.  And very often you will find him frequenting the snack shop where he enjoys having some ice cream.  Chocolate chip cookie dough, yellow cake batter, sherman tracks, butter pecan,well you get the idea, no flavor is a bad flavor where Josh is concerned.  He loves to have fun and smiles alot.  Josh was our surprise baby, coming along only 15 months after the triplets.  This summer he will be 17.
