Activities

Camping at the Covert/South Haven KOA will allow you to choose from several onsite and area activities.  Enjoy the peacefulness of the country with the advantage of having several public beaches, restaurants, wineries, u-pick farms, shopping, antiquing, biking, boat launches, fishing, golfing, canoeing, casinos and more just minutes from our doorstep.

Our beaches and towns have been ranked as some of the best in the United States.  Parent Magazine rated Silver Beach as one of the “Top 10 Beaches” in the U.S.  The Detroit Free Press called it the “Most Romantic Beach”.  Fine Living Magazine has featured South Haven, and Midwest Living put Opal Harbor, in downtown Saugatuck, on its cover because it is one of the most sought after photogenic harbors in the fall time.  So don’t miss all that Southwest Michigan has to offer. Let us be your vacation destination as you explore all the activities the beautiful resort towns of South Haven, St. Joseph, Saugatuck and Holland have to offer.

If you prefer a slower pace, then stay and relax at the campground. Enjoy movie nights, Sunday morning pancake breakfasts, crafts, games, Saturday night hayrides, a playground, a brand new a jumping pillow, large heated pool, 2 catch & release fishing ponds, U-pick blueberries from early July to early September, or participate in one of our many themed weekends.

We love dogs and know that many of you do also.  Let’s face it, they can be wonderful travel companions.  So we didn’t want to forget something special for them as well.  New this year is a K-9 dog park.  Take your faithful friend into our K-9 park, teach them a new trick or two or let them run off leash and play a little fetch.  When you decide you want to go into town shopping, you can take your furry friend with you.  Downtown South Haven is dog friendly and welcomes your pets into their stores.
